Pearse Lyons Distillery are delighted to announce that their Ha’Penny Gin School has now opened. Located on the grounds of Dublin’s only family-owned distillery, the Gin School is housed in newly restored early 20th Century townhouses in the heart of The Liberties, Dublin.
Bearing the name of the iconic Ha’Penny Bridge, Ha’Penny Gin School brings people together for a unique gin experience, where you will bottle your own exclusive gin. During this two-hour gin experience, you will don an apron before entering the gin school where you are surrounded by scores of botanicals and fragrant gin notes. Our in-house experts will guide you through the history of gin.
You will also enjoy a sensory experience, while understanding and choosing the right botanicals before putting your miniature copper pot-still to work. While your mini pot still is bubbling away, local seasonal bites will be served and paired with our signature Ha’Penny Gin and Tonic.
Once your unique gin is distilled, you will get the opportunity to check the alcohol strength, gaining approval from our in-house experts. You will then seal the 70cl bottle before adding a personalised label, ready to bring home and enjoy.
