Building on two successful limited edition releases between Sligo’s premier Lough Gill Distillery – Athrú & Sligo’s oldest heritage pub Thomas Connolly are delighted to announce their third release in partnership with Athrú.
Introducing a limited edition 7-Year-Old Single Cask Release, matured in three different casks of bourbon, oloroso and finished in a Ruby port cask. This cask strength whiskey at 59.9% ABV. will retail at €99.95. A nod to their heritage of bottling fine whiskey, this incredible single malt Irish whiskey, once again delivers.

Nose : Honeyed maltiness with warm port sweetness and woody vanilla inviting you to taste.
Taste : A complex whiskey starting with almond tones followed by caramelised fruits, melting dark chocolate and finishing with honey and praline.
Finish : A lingering warm finish continuing with the port sweetness, a hint of leather sprinkled only at times with a mint top note.
